1. The Gadhimai Festival In 2009, approximately 250,000 farm animals were inhumanely sacrificed during Nepal’s Gadhimai Festival. This horrific event occurs every 5 years, with funding from the government, and will be held again this November. We’re calling on all our friends and members to support the work of our colleagues at the Jane Goodall Institute Nepal.
